A Note from the Principal
Dear Central Families:
It's that time of year where many reflect upon all there is to be grateful for. Without a doubt, our extended school community is one that I am most thankful for. I acknowledge all that you have been through with us over the last couple of years and appreciate the continued support you show our teachers and staff. We continue to adapt so that we can do what we do best, teach!
It's also the time of year that we work together to show our children that it is COOL 2 CARE! Due to space limitations, we are collecting money (instead of cans) to donate to Outreach East. This organization helps local families stock their pantries with food. We know that some of our families need and use this service and we want to ensure that all of our families have enough food to get through this holiday season.
If you are able, consider sending in a couple dollars with your student to turn into the office. Our school goal is $1,000. If we hit our goal, students and staff will have the opportunity to silly string the principal. They are really looking forward to that!
Thank you for your continued partnership with your child’s education!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Kuzinski

Dressing Warm for Recess
We go outside every day unless the actual temperature or wind chill dips below zero degrees F. Please help your child remember to bring their gear for recess every day. I recommend working with your child to check their backpack every night to make sure they have both gloves and boots, as well as the rest of the gear, in their bag. By getting it ready at night you'll have an easier time getting out the door in the morning.

Parent Drop Off and Pick Up
Parent drop-off and pick-up is running smoothly and we appreciate everyone's patience and cooperation! in the morning, it would be helpful if your child was ready with their backpack, mask, and unbuckled, ready to get out of the car to keep our line running smoothly. Also, great job on using our car signs. It certainly helps with our process. Kudos to all of our families!
As a reminder for student safety, please do not drop off your student and allow them to walk through the parking lot by themselves. Oftentimes, they are not tall enough for people to see them through their rearview mirrors. Also, they are children and aren't always looking for the dangers around them.
Please help us keep your child safe by using our drop off lines or walking them all the way to the school.
