5 Things to Know about WNHS
August 16, 2019
We are back in full force and already having a great time. Our 9th and 10th grade students get their computers on Monday and Tuesday. Please be sure that they have had you sign their usage contract, and that they bring it with them on Monday or Tuesday. If you still need a school physical or immunizations, please take care of those things before October so that your student is not excluded from school. This issue is mostly pictures from our recent activities. The kids are so much fun. Go Thunder!
AP Boot Camp
This summer, we did an AP Boot Camp designed to help students who have signed up for AP classes prepare for the rigor of the class. We had over 80 students participate. Our themes for the 3 days were Curriculum, Community, and College. One of the activities we did was designed to help them learn how to work as a team. All these photos shown above were from their team experience downtown on the Square. The photo shown below was taken on our college trip to UW Madison.
First Day Activities.
Today, during our Thunder Way Kickoff, students played games to help them remember all the parts of our N.O.R.T.H. philosophy.
Students looking at our College Maps....(shown above)
Next time you are in the building, take a minute to check out our College Maps that are now in the Commons. It's a great way to start a conversation with your student about their plans for after high school.
