Student Art Kits available
The art office has a program to get therapeutic art supplies to students in need across the district. They hope to start getting the supplies out soon pending final approval. Feel free to use this link or reach out to Sherri Fisher with questions. Additionally they’re including art activities in each kit developed in collaboration with the Art Therapy program at Notre Dame (see below).
If you have any feedback or additions you would like added please let Sherri know. Students do not need to attend a title I school to receive supplies. Given the current timeline of supply requests, delivery may not match up with the school calendar. However what they’re providing goes beyond curriculum and the end of the school year. Kits will continue to be sent as requests are able to be filled.

The 2020-2021 Workforce Shortage Student Assistance Grant (WSSAG) Program application is now available!
Students will need to create an account within the Maryland College Aid Processing System (MDCAPS). To create or log into an existing MDCAPS account (if applicable), please visit https://mdcaps.mhec.state.md.us/MDCAPS/login.aspx. Once they log into their MDCAPS account, they will see the "Apply" link where they may submit the application.
Once an application has been submitted, students may select the "To Do" list link (within their MDCAPS account) to view the list of documents required for consideration of the 2020-2021 WSSAG program.
Remember... students must complete the WSSAG application and submit ALL supporting documentation no later than July 1, 2020. Faxed documents are not acceptable and all required documentation must be received and/or postmarked by the Office of Student Financial Assistance by July 1st.
Also, to be considered for WSSAG based on need, students must file the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) for the 2020-2021 academic year by visiting www.fafsa.gov.

FAFSA Completion Data from MCAC
Last week you received completion percentages from the Maryland College Application Campaign. The document shows the total number of applications by school to date and completion totals from those same applications. The difference between the two numbers are the applications college counselors need to follow up on to determine what’s incomplete using the file Sharon provides.
The attached excel document shows the actual senior enrollment divided by the completion numbers from your document to get your actual completion numbers by school. While the original document shows the percentage of completed applications from current submissions, it doesn’t reflect the senior class enrollment.
Please continue to use Sharon's FAFSA completion file to support students who are planning to attend 2 or 4 year colleges.

**NEW** Graduation Survey Completion Results
In order for seniors to send their final transcripts through eDocs, we need them to complete the Graduation Survey that was assigned to them. One of the five survey questions asks seniors where they’re attending in the fall, which makes completion crucial so we have the location to send their final transcript.
Please take a look at the attached, but you’re also able to run this report using the following steps:
- Go to the Analytics tab
- Click on Reports BETA
- Click on Task Completion Report
- In the filter on the left side select the "Complete Graduation Survey" under the tasks section.
There’s also the current task completion status report available to provide the names of students who need to complete the survey by following the steps below.
1. Choose settings
2. Class year: 12
3. Continue
4. Remove all > add COMPLETE GRADATION SURVEY
5. Continue
6. Choose CSV so you can reorder by complete, in progress and not started
Please contact your Specialist directly if you have any questions about the reports.

The Marie Lloyd/ Ed Lamon Endowed Scholarship is offered each year to students graduating from a Baltimore area high school planning to attend CCBC for the Fall Semester, 2020.
The Marie Lloyd/Ed Lamon Scholarship is a two year award (four semesters) for a student pursuing an Associate Degree in a program of the student’s choice. The scholarship will fund up to $1,500 per semester.
Students will be evaluated on financial need, quality of essay, and high school grades.
The recipient can attend CCBC either full-time (12 credits) or part-time (6 credits). (Note: the scholarship amount will be prorated for a part-time student). The recipient must maintain a 2.0 grade point average and demonstrate acceptable progress toward an Associate Degree to be renewed each semester.
