Sundays From The Mesa # 5
Week of September 6-9, 2022
September is Here! The Doorway to Fall!!
I hope everyone is having a pleasant and restorative Labor Day weekend. Labor Day is often thought of as the official end of summer, if only it also ended the Summer heat. The state of California has issued a heat warning for the entire state. While we are somewhat accustomed to high temperatures in Redding, I do ask that all parents take into consideration the high temperatures this week. Please send your child to school with a water bottle. Our campus has several water-filling stations. We also have multiple shaded areas for students to go to during recess. Please make sure your child dresses appropriately for the high temperatures. We hope that cooler weather is ahead of us soon.
If you have not yet, please used the attached link to fill out the Beginning of the Year forms. We are working to have 100% completed this week.
Just a reminder there will be no school Monday for Labor Day. Enjoy your three-day weekend!
Thank you,
Ryan Miller- Principal Alta Mesa School.
We're going paperless!!! As a parent, you can get on top of filling these out prior to school!!! Please see this letter with links on how to fill out the "beginning of the year" forms.
Our EESD Superintendent Heather Armelino will be answering questions parents have about our district in the form of a podcast. Questions will be accepted until September 12th.
STEM Club Begins This Week
We post a lot of the fun things that happen around our campus. Follow along with us!
