Types of Speeches
by: Zoey Pope
Manuscript
Can be used for class presentations and is most used because it gives the speaker plenty of time to prepare for it.
Memorization
This type of presentation is useful for not seeming too prepared, but can put a strain on your memory if your presentation is longer than 5 minutes. Is great for oral presentations.
Extemporaneous
This method is useful for sounding more natural and as if you're actually speaking to someone. There is no way to prepare so that might pose a problem.
Impromptu
Absolutely no way to prepare for this type of presentation, but works well for regular conversations and debates
