A Note From Mr. Christ
Dear Paddock Families,
I hope you are all having a great weekend. I wanted to remind all families to please make sure their student has appropriate winter gear for going outside to recess. With the snow sticking to the ground and the weather staying cold, it is very important that students have winter coats (not just a hoodie), hats, and gloves. I would also encourage boots and snow pants so their clothing does not get wet, making them uncomfortable for the remainder of the school day. Doing this will help keep the students warm and safe while playing at recess.
Additionally, for safety reasons, please remind your student that throwing snow is not permitted at recess. These expectations have been reviewed with all students, but an extra reminder from parents/guardians would be appreciated.
Thank you. Have a wonderful week.

FastBridge Testing
All students in kindergarten, first grade, and second grade take FastBridge assessments in the Fall, Winter, and Spring of each school year. FastBridge uses brief measures of early literacy and math at the Kindergarten and first grade levels. These brief assessments provide data on an early learner’s reading and math development. The FastBridge assessments typically take less than 10 minutes per student, but the data gained provides teachers with insights and suggestions to help address each child’s needs.
Fastbridge test results for students in kindergarten through second grade, from the fall and winter testing periods, will be available to parents via the Infinite Campus Parent Portal. These results will be posted mid-February. When you log into the Infinite Campus Parent Portal you will need to select "more" from the dropdown window and then select "Assessments".
