Hello Westside Families! Thank you for continuing to support your child's educational journey as we enter into the final stretch of the first nine weeks. Teachers have begun parent conferences on an "as needed" basis, but if you would like to meet, please reach out to them to set up an appointment.

Last week our 1st and 2nd graders excitedly shopped at the Explorer Exchange to purchase different items with their Compass Cash. This week all remaining grades will have the opportunity to shop, so be sure to ask your child about it!

If you have not returned your IMPACT FORM, please complete and return as soon as possible. This document helps fund our schools and account for every child.

The School Board voted to extend the mask mandate until October 29th. Again, parents have the opportunity to obtain a medical exemption or IEP/504 exemption. All other students will be expected to wear a mask regardless of parent preference. The School Board also moved to address exemptions on quarantining students who are close contact to minimize time students are out of school. Please see the BPS website for more details.

Walk To School Day is coming up on Wednesday October 6th. We will meet at the Fire/EMT Station sidewalk at 7:15 am and walk to school together! Families are welcome to join in the fun!
