ONLINE REGISTRATION FOR 2020/21 SCHOOL YEAR
MUSIC UPDATE FROM MS. GRUBEN
Online music learning has been an adventure! The students in grades 2-6 have had some fun music challenges posted on the Specials Menu in their google classrooms. They have sent in some fantastic artifacts showing their work. One of the biggest hits was the Donut song challenge. So many Bishop students took on the song and body percussion challenge and did it even better than me! Brooklyn in Mr. Quartons class rocked it with her mom and sent me a video. Well done Brooklyn!
In K-1 students get a new music lesson each Friday posted to Seesaw online learning classrooms. They have sung simple songs with games, echo songs with Youtube videos, and even some homemade instrument playing with the music version of the book Caps For Sale.
Even though I can’t wait to be back in our beautiful music room at Bishop, I love seeing the learning that continues to happen online. Thank you to Bishop parents for singing and playing music with your students and thank you to students for participating in the online music lessons and challenges that I give each week. Keep up the good work Bishop musicians!
