Introduction
Tornadoes are really spine-chilling.We are puzzled to where tornadoes come from. They're many interesting things about tornadoes other than being afraid of them.Tornadoes are spinning clouds that can assassinate, damage, and rupture many people and homes."Tornadoes are scary but we can be prepared."
What exactly is a tornado?
A tornado is a violently rotating column of air between a cloud and Earth, touching both. When conditions are good enough, a simple thunderstorm cant turn into 1 or more tornadoes!!!!! It has to be moisture in the low-middle levels of the atmosphere.Air has to come off of the ground and has to be strong enough. It happens when air is near the ground getting hot! It also has to have " lifting force" that cause air to come up.
What are the causes of tornadoes?
Tornadoes form in unusually violent thunderstorms. When there is sufficient (1) instability and (2) wind shear present in the lower atmosphere.Instability refers to unusally warm and humid weather in the lower atmosphere. Wind shear in this situaiton of tornadoes refers to to the wind direction changing. The particular kind of wind shear and instability usually exists only ahead of a cold and low pressure system. The intense spinning of a tornado is partly the result of the updrafts in the thunderstorm inerating with the wind shear.
Where do most tornadoes occur?
The United States has the highest incidence of tornadoes worldwide, with about a thousand occurring every year. The country's 1 of a kind geography brings together cold-air from Canada. It brings moist air from the Gulf of Mexico. Dry air from the southwest. It clashes into the middle of the country. It makes thunderstorms and tornadoes, then they come together.
