We are gearing up for our grandparents this Thursday!

Here is the schedule for the day...

As grandparents arrive on campus, they will be directed to the proceed to the Church and will be seated in the east and west wings. (if you are looking at the altar, these are the sections to the left and the right) Mass begins at 8:15am. As this is our weekly school Mass, students will sit with their class in the south section, with the exception of PreK as they do not attended the weekly school Mass. Mrs. Cook will bring the PreK students over as Mass concludes. Mass will be live-streamed.

There will be a couple of singing performances by the Prek, 1st, 2nd and 3rd grades immediately following Mass in the Church.

Grandparents will then be invited with their grandchild to a reception in Scantln Hall (gym). As they enter, they will have their picture taken with their grandchild/children and will come on in for refreshments. At 10:00am, the Band students will entertain us with several songs.

After the Band performance, grandparents with students from PreK to 4th grade will head over the library to browse the book fair and grades 5 through 8 will visit classrooms and teachers. Around 11:15am, PreK through 4thwill go to the classrooms and 5th through 8th will attend the book fair.

At 12:00 noon, we will say farewell to our grandparents and thank them for coming.

While PreK does not attend Mass, we would love for the PreK grandparents celebrate our weekly school Mass.

There will be a special edition of the Hornet Herald with directions for grandparents that are unable to attend on directions on how to watch Mass live-streamed, etc.

National Junior Honor Society

Congratulations to our newest members of the National Junior Honor Society who were inducted to the Holy Family Catholic School Chapter. NJHS is more than just an honor roll. The Honor Society chapter's membership is based upon a student's outstanding performance in the areas of scholarship, service, leadership, citizenship and character.

Congratulations to Kaitlyn, Tuesday, Cooper, Sami, Milla and Anna on this amazing accomplishment!
