The Manning Weekly Newsletter
April 24, 2020
Dear Families,
Thank you for continued partnership in our online learning environment. We are grateful for you!
If you have an incoming student to Manning, you can find our virtual Meet and Greet HERE. It might be fun for your future 6th grader to watch videos of their soon-to-be teachers and get to know them better!
We plan to send all current 6th and 7th graders (and their families) their schedules for next school year by Friday, May 8. Please stay tuned!
Thanks, as always, for sharing your kids with us. It is our honor to serve them.

Online Learning "Bell" Schedule
Students: Having trouble finishing an assignment? We're here to help!
If you're having trouble getting an assignment completed, here are some additional supports we have in place:
- Reach out to your teacher and let them know you're working on it. They will count you present and work with you on a due date that's manageable.
- Check your emails! The front office staff will email students directly if they've missed something with an offer to help. If you respond to that email, we'll know they're working on school, mark you present, and get you the support you need!

8th Grade Continuation Update

Also, as we know how important it is to give our incredible 8th graders the chance to say goodbye to one another before they head to high school, we have rescheduled the 8th Grade Picnic at Maple Grove Park to Thursday, August 6, 2020 at 10am. We hope you'll join us!
