Wanted: Plastic baby food containers

Do you have any Gerber plastic (or any brand) baby food containers around the house (or have some that will be used soon)? We use them in class to store math manipulatives such as counters, and are in need of more! Thanks so much!

Parents can view book fees on Skyward now. Payments are due September 15th. Make checks payable to TCE and note it is for book fees. Or families can use the eFunds payment option in Skyward. It takes about 10 days to post book fee payments on the Skyward account. Families interested in the Free/Reduced program must apply each year. Our Curriculum for Next Week....

Reading - We will continue on building relationships with the books we read by thinking about, sharing, retelling and discussing them. We still are working on choosing a "just right book" and learning the procedures for our Reading Workshop. We will also be working on retelling. This will help students answer the question "What does my teacher want to know when she says tell me about the story."

Writing - We will be working on editing our work, paying close attention to capital letters at the beginning, punctuation at the end of sentences, always using a capital letter I, using finger spacing, and beginning to use our dictionary to help us spell unknown words.

Math - We will be working on graphing (picture graphs, bar graphs, and tally graphs).
