COVID-19 Information Page

We understand that there are many questions surrounding COVID-19 and protocols and procedures at Bancroft. I can assure you that ALL district guidelines, processes and procedures are being used with fidelity. You can find a copy of those procedures on the district website.

Dine to Donate

Our first Dine to Donate of the year! Take a mid-week break from cooking and come snag a pizza at Round Table Pizza.

Noon Supervisor

HUGE shoutout to our fabulous volunteers during arrival, lunch time, and dismissal. Your service has been invaluable.

We are trying to noon supervisors. If you or anyone you know are interested in working at Bancroft just 8 hours a week, please click on the link here or go to the district website. All our lunch supervisors were parents of former students that just wanted to work where their child attended school. It's a win-win for all.

Parent Advisory Committee


The Parent Advisory Council (PAC) has been instrumental in helping Mt. Diablo Unified School District develop, implement, and monitor programs and activities across our district. PAC meetings include updates from our Superintendent, presentations on relevant topics impacting Mt. Diablo students, time for members to ask questions, and opportunities to share about what is happening across the District. Sites are to work with their SSC (or ELAC) members to identify a rep for the district PAC.

The first PAC meeting will be on Tuesday, September 14th starting at 5:30pm at Willow Creek (1026 Mohr Ln, Concord, CA 94519.) The first meeting will be held in person. The PAC schedule for the year is below.

Early Release Wednesday - LUNCH food update

Bancroft will be serving lunch type food on Wednesdays in lieu of snack/breakfast items. (this will help fill the kids up before they arrive home for lunch. This will be just like pre covid at their scheduled snack/brunch times. 9:45am grades 1-2 and 10am grades 3-5th.

Project to Inspire

Project to Inspire: (Share with your parents)

Our Department will be offering a Project 2 Inspire Series for parents on English Learners. This is a 12 week session. The first session is scheduled for September 15, 2021 at 5:45 pm. Via zoom. We invite elementary or secondary parents. Some of the topics to be covered are: Communication with the school building student success, Building a Bridge between home and School, Education in the digital era, The Educational system in the United States to mention a few. The sessions will be conducted in Spanish. If interested contact Patricia Coronado coronadop@mdusd.

In Spanish: Project 2 Inspire Series, For your Newsletter

El Departamento de Aprendices de Inglés y programas de doble Inmersión ofrecerá a los padres de Aprendices de Inglés el curso de Project 2 Inspira que consta de 12 sesiones. La primera sesión está programada para el miércoles 15 de septiembre a las 5:45 pm. Las sesiones serán vía Zoom. Los tópicos a cubrirse son de interés para todos los padres. Algunos de los temas a cubrirse son: La comunicación con la escuela construyendo el éxito de sus estudiantes, Construyendo un puente entre el hogar y la escuela, La Educación en la era digital, El sistema educacional en los Estados Unidos para mencionar algunos temas.
