A wee bit of Irish fun with Lucky Duck Day!
Kindergarten, Grade 5, and Grade 6 Lucky Ducks Each student got a Lucky Duck with a number on the bottom. | Grade 1, 2, 3, 4, 7, 8, and 9 Lucky Ducks Throughtout the day, a Lucky Duck number was drawn for each grade. The Lucky Ducks got to take home a prize! | And, of course, some Lucky Duck prizes for staff Three lucky staff members took home prizes. But we just couldn't leave any of them empty handed as we are so lucky to have them. So treat bags went to staff with the "not so lucky" lucky ducks! |

Watch for your Alberta Education Assurance survey code in your mail
The Alberta Education Assurance (AEA) survey gathers feedback on the quality of education provided by school authorities and their schools. Schools and school authorities use this information to understand how they are doing and plan for the future.
Who gets a survey
The AEA survey is sent to parents or guardians of students in Grades 4, 7 and 10. In schools with fewer than 120 students in Grades 4 to 12 and most charter and private schools, survey are sent to parents or guardians of students in Grades 4 and above.
Teachers and students complete the survey online at school.
Parents or guardians receive a survey invitation package by mail and have the option to complete the survey on paper or online using the provided Random Access Code (RAC). Parents or guardians with more than one student in an eligible grade will receive a separate survey invitation package for each child.
Only parents or guardians of students in participating grades will receive a survey invitation package to complete the survey.
Responding to the survey is voluntary.
