Ranger Report 11/04/22
IB World School
Message from the Principal
Ranger Families,
WOW! What a beautiful week here at BTE! We had authors visit us and every student was given a brand-new signed book! Enjoy your reading weekend, Rangers! Please see these reminders below.
Important Reminders:
- Student Dress Code - Please help your children adhere to the Standard Mode of Dress when sending your child to school each day. All scholars must wear a polo shirt (red, blue, white, grey, or pink) and khakis, jeans, or black pants/long shorts/long skirts. This dress code will be enforced regularly beginning next Monday. If you need assistance with getting shirts or the appropriate pants, contact our parent liaison at joany.benitezpiedra@manorisd.net. The SMOD flyer is below.
- Bus Safety - Because of the limited number of bus drivers, it is more important than ever to follow the rules on the bus. Please have conversations with your child(ren) about making good choices when riding the bus to and from school. You can visit the transportation website for more details about transportation in MISD. If you have any questions or concerns about bus safety or bullying on the bus, please contact James.Mcdonald@manorisd.net
- Title 1 Compacts - These contracts will be sent out next week. It is our commitment and district expectation to ensure teachers, scholars, and families are engaged in student learning and achievement. Your child's teacher will be reaching out soon with more information about this. If you have any questions about parent involvement, contact our parent liaison at joany.benitezpiedra@manorisd.net.
Next Week's Events:
- NO SCHOOL on Friday! 11/11/22 is Veteran's Day
Respectfully,

⭐️ TEACHER FEATURE ⭐️
Mrs. Jackson
Mrs. Jackson is one of our hard-working 1st-grade teachers who will do anything to support her students. She loves to give her students agency, so they take ownership of their own learning. She has been dedicated to our BTE Rangers for over 20 years, and we are so lucky to have her here! We love you, Mrs. Jackson! THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING YOU DO!
