Momentum
Monentum is mass in motion, it describes the relationship of an object's velocity and its mass. Thus the equation or momentum is mass in kilograms multiplied by the velocity in metres per second and is measured in kilogram metres per second. m (kg) * v (m/s) = momentum (kg m/s).
Problems
Objects that have no motion have no momentum. An object with a velocity of 10m/s and a mass of 40kg has a momentum of 400kg m/s.
Law of Conservation of Momentum
When two momentums act in opposite directions to each other, the net momentum is zero
