I want to encourage you to stop in and see us this year, check in with your child's teachers, and make sure they are in good shape to end the school year.
Additionally this year, students in grades 7-11 will be able to share their IPS (Individual Plans of Study) folder with you and share a rough draft of their schedule for next year. We hope that sharing their plans with you early will give you the chance to speak with your teen about their future plans and goals. Also, this will afford us the time to create a class schedule that best meets their post-secondary goals.
Spring Break: March 10 - March 17
IMPACT Referral of the Week
From: John Heidrick
Message: Last semester Jennifer took time from her schedule to help one of my 7th graders complete his Kansas History final after being removed from class for disruptive behavior. Her extra effort ensured him a passing grade for the final and the class.

A site council is a commitment to the school in hopes of making it the best school it can be. It is a time commitment, but it is also a commitment to seek solutions to areas of weakness in our system. A great school is always seeking ways to improve and a site council helps to lead those improvements.
If you would like more information about serving on the Pleasanton High School site council, please contact Sara Conley at sara.conlely@usd344.org.
