Attea Flyers
School Newsletter for Parents
Week of April 25
Hello Attea families.
We've entered a fun "final stretch" of the school year in the form of Student Council's A-Z Countdown. Below is a picture showing the various daily themes. We want to encourage students to keep working hard but still have some fun along the way.
Speaking of fun...Next Thursday is Attea's Spring Flyers Follies talent show. The show starts at 6:30pm in the cafeteria. We hope many of you can join us for an evening of fun and impressive performances by students.
Go Flyers!!
Autism Awareness
Did you know that April is Autism Acceptance Month? Autism acceptance means celebrating diversity by recognizing that people with autism thrive as equally, valuable members of our community. Autism acceptance invites us to recognize that we all have strengths and weaknesses. Sharing mutual support and respecting each person's individual differences are just some of the ways we can accept each other and celebrate diversity. Next week, all students will be participating in an SEL lesson centered around autism acceptance, with a focus on what makes each of us unique.
