Environmental happenings
The climate and terrain made it harder for workers. Peasants, convicts, and soldiers were enlisted to work on the railroad. the guage in Russia were wider than in Europe or China. The main railroad from Moscow to Vladivostok was finished in 1916. Now there are several routes for railroads now.
Historical Events
Ivan made all the peasants become serfs. The Soviet Union and the United States were both the most powerful which led to the cold war. Russian, Ukraine, Belarus, and the republics of Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Georgia formed the Soviet Union. Russians princess had to play their tribute. Ivan kept some of the money from tributes and used the rest for his land to expand his territory.
Geographical features
Most of Russia is flat and made of plains. The Ural mountains separate the Northern European Plain. The large plains are also called steppes. Russia is the largest landmass in the world from east to west its 6,000 miles. Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan are isolated from Russia
