Free & Reduced Price Meals Program

Gwinnett County Public Schools offers healthy meals every school day. Breakfast costs $1.50; lunch costs $2.25 for elementary and $2.50 at middle and high schools. Your children may qualify for free meals or for reduced-price meals. The reduced price is $.30 for breakfast and $.40 for lunch. The GCPS web site contains an application for free or reduced-price meal benefits and a set of detailed instructions: https://www.gcpsk12.org/Page/29759
Student ID Cards
Students can scan the barcodes on their phones to purchase their lunches. We also recommend students take a screenshot of their barcodes and save to their phones to make the process go faster. See below for directions and share with your student.

NEW! Football Rituals
We continue to build new rituals each day at SKG! We have three rituals for football games that we want to share.
1. Jag Prowl - Football players will walk through the stadium prior to kick-off. Please cheer (ROAR) and take pictures from your seats and keep the middle of the stadium clear to allow them to pass. Think Dog Walk in Athens or The Hill at Clemson!
2. Alma Mater Played by Band After the Game - Football players will join the Band in singing the Alma Mater from the field in front of the student section.
3. Post-Game Team Meeting on the Field - Players' families are encouraged to join players during a post-game team meeting. Families should circle the players around the Jag head on the 50-yard line. To enter the field, use the family field entrance on the diagram below. The visiting team will be exiting the gate near the field house.
