e-Learning in Lexington One
Information on e-Learning procedures
Lexington One wants to ensure our families are prepared for any interruptions to our traditional school schedule. Our goal is to maintain consistent and engaging learning for our students, even when it's not safe for them to physically be in our schools.
Because of this, Lexington One has implemented an e-Learning Day protocol for situations when school buildings need to close.
- Parents/guardians and students should check email and/or ParentSquare for information on school or class specific procedures.
- During e-learning days, students are expected to check their online Learning Management System (LMS) by 8:30 a.m. Students can log into LaunchPad to access SeeSaw (Grades Kâ2), Google Classroom (Grades 3â5) or Schoology (Grades 6â12).
- Students will participate in activities that support their learning in each class or subject area, which might include videos, Zoom calls, and readings.
- The tasks will vary based on their subjects and teachers.
- Teachers will be reachable via email and/or ParentSquare to answer questions from students and/or parents about assignments.
- If your child faces technical issues, a dedicated Help Desk is available at (803) 821-1201.
- Students will have five days to finish their work in order to be counted present for the e-learning day.
