Bobby woke up one day and he was invisible. He saw nothing of himself, just a towel he had on. Ever since then his parents where all over him. Calling him every hour and treating him like a child. But that never happened before. In the text it says “And it is worse because Mom and Dad are doing a lot better and feel like they have to call me all the time now- which is something new for them.”

This proves that his parents were the ones treating him like he was invisible. His parents probably never did this before, which he said, which says that he was treated like he was invisible before.

The narrator in this article was invisible in many ways. In this story there was a family that moved from place to place day by day to find jobs. Every time they found a job somewhere, they moved the next day. The family lived in harsh conditions and run down shacks for houses. But, the one that stood out the most to be was that he was feeling ignored from his family. For example, in the text it said that Papa said “Mama, you and the little ones sleep in the mattress. Roberto, Panchito and I will sleep outside under the trees.”

In this video, there was a kid that was living in New York City in 5 degree weather. His only warmth was a garbage bag. People walked passed him, not even making eye contact him. He was actually treated like he wasn’t there. Imagine that being you?

This proves that he was invisible because people walked right past him like he actually wasn’t there. Everyone was ignoring his presence and nobody came to help until a couple hours later. His invisibility was only noticed by 1 person out of 1,000 people who walked past him.
