What is Momentum?

- Momentum describes an objects mass in motion.

- Momentum is measured in kg m/s

- Every object that is moving has momentum

Momentum = mass x velocity

LAW OF CONSERVATION OF MOMENTUM - The momentum before an action/ collision between two objects is equal to the momentum after an action

If an object is at rest and hs a mass of 2000kg, it has zero momentum because it is not moving.
