Middle School Magnet Schools Information
At Zachry Magnet School is building a community culture of learning, with experiences to enhance the understanding of global communications, cyber security, and information technology.
If your 5th grade student is interested in applying for the middle school magnet schools, please visit https://www.nisd.net/schools/magnet for more information about the application process!
Northside Threads Closet
The Northside Threads Closet provides support to NISD students and families by providing clothing in an effort to reduce barriers and increase attendance. Clothing is free to families and the student/family must have a counselor referral to access services.
- Provide 5 tops, 5 bottoms, 5 brand new socks, and 5 brand new bottoms to every enrolled NISD student in the referred family.
- Create volunteer opportunities for staff, students, and the greater community.
- Receive donations of gently used clothes and ready them for use.
- Families must get a referral from their NISD counselor to utilize this free service.
