Week of April13-17th "Digital Learning Cycle Days":
Monday - Day 1 "Food Delivery Day"
Tuesday - Day 2
Wednesday - Day 3
Thursday - Day 4
Friday - Day 1
Please Note the Following Changes:
- Elementary Special Areas will now post a weekly assignment on Mondays for each class which would be due the following Monday. This will give students and families the week to chip away at the assignments. Although this will create a lot of assignments on one day, perhaps that's a better method than new things every day as families could choose the times that work for them during the week to accomplish their tasks.
- 3rd/4th Grade, as well as 5th/6th Grade Choral groups, no longer have mandatory assignments.
- Elementary "Computer" class activities will not be assigned at this time in order to limit screen time for essential learning. Ms. Lovely is now serving as a resource for parents and teachers with "Technology Coaching Services."
The iReady Growth Check issues have been rectified. The Growth Check should start on Monday the 20th for Elementary and Junior High. Please let your students know! Thank you to Therese and Erin for making this happen...
Below is a link to all the presentations and resources shared out at SLLBOCES VIRTUAL CONFERENCE - EDUCATING FROM A DISTANCE. There are some amazing presentations! Anyone is welcome to access this resource!
We wanted to remind teachers of our School-Wide Reading Challenge. If your students read a book please have them access the Distance Learning Book Challenge Form!
With the greatest appreciation for all you do,
Brooke and Steve
