LV Intermediate Parent Survey
A Note from Mrs. Davis
Standardized Tests can be stressful on students, teachers, parents, and principals. Please help us ease your child's anxiety by giving them words of encouragement, extra hugs, and write a little note to let him/her know how proud you are of him/her and their work in school.
These simple tasks can help relax your child during testing times:
1. Remind your child to lay clothes and backpacks out the night before
2. Feed him/her a healthy dinner
3. Feed him/her a healthy breakfast or make sure they have time to eat breakfast at school
4. Make sure your child arrives to school before 7:45AM
5. Keep family time at home quiet and relaxed- no late night trips to the store- please
6. Remind your child to go to bed at their bedtime so he/she is well-rested
PTO has provided snacks and water for testing. It is not necessary for you to send snacks with your child. Please do not plan on eating lunch at school with your child next Tuesday or Wednesday. We will have a different lunch schedule and will not allow outside visitors during testing. After Wednesday, please feel free to join us for lunch! We would love to have you:)
We are sure that with your help, our students are going to have a great week!
Sincerely,
Mrs. Davis
