Reminders for the Week:

*As we approach the November/December holidays (including Thanksgiving and Christmas) it is important to remember that travel to a region designated a COVID-19 hotspot by the Pennsylvania Department of Health will require quarantine upon return and temporarily switching to virtual learning. For more information about travel, please see the letter from our superintendent of schools here.
*Our Race for Education is rescheduled for Wednesday, November 18th (November 19th will be the rain date; we will publish the new date soon. You can donate to our Race for Education here. Please help us reach our goal of 20,000 to directly benefit the students of St. Jerome School!
*The St. Jerome apparel store will remain open to sell a few items including water bottles, sweatshirts, and masks. These orders close on November 15th. We will be opening a new store in November with some new products in time for Christmas including alumni shirts, winter hats, and pajama pants.
*Picture Day is next Thursday, November 12th. Picture packets will be sent home in the Wednesday folder. This week's newsletter will have more details on how the day will work for both our in-person and virtual students.

Student Health Reminders
Our reopening plan calls on every member of the school community to support our values of mutual respect, integrity, willingness to sacrifice for the common good and foster community bonds across generations. Commitment to the policies will assist in protecting the health and welfare of all members of our school community.
In an effort to keep all children safe, we ask that Parents monitor their children’s Health daily. Below are the expectations related to the health monitoring.
I attest to :
Fever of 100.4 or above,
chills,
Cough,
Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing,
Fatigue,
Muscle or body aches,
Headache,
New loss of taste or smell,
Sore throat,
Congestion or runny nose,
Nausea or vomiting,
Diarrhea,
My child has not had any contact with anyone with COVID
My child has not traveled a location designated as a “Hot Spot
I am following all CDC recommended guidelines and limiting my/my child’s exposure to risks such as above
If any of these symptoms present, please keep your child from school and contact the school. If the symptoms are serious please seek immediate medical attention. Always call before visiting your doctor or health facility.
We will keep you informed if the list of symptoms, listed above, changes in any way.
