All About Ansel Adams
Ansel Easton Adams was born on February 20, 1902 and died on April 22, 1984. Adams was from San Francisco, California. He was an American photographer and environmentalist best known for his black and white landscape photographs. Ansel Adams liked to take his pictures in the southwest region. Adams expanded his repertoire, focusing on detailed close-ups as well as large forms, from mountains to factories. He spent time in New Mexico with artists including Alfred Stieglitz, Georgia O'Keeffe and Paul Strand. In Ansel Adams' work i see just black and white photos of different landscapes and a few flowers here and there. His work was up in museums and inspired many other photographers. In Adams work i noticed a lot of rule of thirds and odds.
