Maple Dale Elementary Curbside Pick-Up
Parents, we will begin the curbside pickup of students on November 6th. Once you receive your placard, please take note of the following procedures to ensure that everyone is ready for this change.
Children:
Students participating will be dismissed to cafeteria at 3:40 p.m.
In the cafeteria, they will find their assigned table and wait until their car number is called. Siblings in families will be seated together.
School personnel will announce each child’s car number, and the children will be prompted to walk to the car line.
All children will enter vehicles on the passenger side nearest the curb.
Parents:
Display placard in rearview mirror, so number is visible.
Car line will open at 3:25 pm. If you are early, please turn off your car while waiting.
Drive car into the main circle drive around the flagpole at the front of the school, using our typical traffic pattern.
Please do not use the lane nearest the flagpole (Lane 2) to remove yourself from your car line position.
Drive your vehicle up as far as possible, so other families can load at the same time.
Remain in car while you wait for your student to be brought to you. Please do not exit your car to come in to pick-up your child.
A few things to remember…….
Please be PATIENT! We anticipate the car line will get faster and more efficient as school personnel and students learn this new system.
Proceed with caution when picking up your child in the car-rider line.
Refrain from using a cell phone or any other electronic device for safety reasons...be alert!
We are a smoke free district and we ask you to refrain from smoking in car line.
Practice your student’s car line number with them!

Thank you in advance for your cooperation!!!!!
The Aviation Station is rolling....
Another exciting component to this new classroom on wheels is our Homework Assistance outreach. Four days a week (M-TH), we travel to local neighborhoods after school (4pm-6pm) to provide homework help on the Aviation Station after school.
Monday: Fields Ertel Townhomes
Tuesday: Hazelwood Community Center
Wednesday: The Villages at Symmes Crossing
Thursday: Blue Ash Kohl’s
Our students bring their homework assignments with them as they enjoy a light snack and assistance from an adult or student helper. Once they complete their homework, students are provided with the opportunity to participate in STEAM challenges of their choice on the Aviation Station in small groups. Helpers provide guidance and direction as needed.
We are looking for parent volunteers to assist us with this outreach endeavor. A certified Sycamore staff member will always be present to answer any specific questions. You can sign up here to assist at any location. SignUpGenius-Aviation Station Homework Assistance

October Newsletter 2017 ~ Mason Middle School where the museum opens before-hours for a sensory-friendly experience. Entry is free and open to families with children with autism. A project of this type is completely unprecedented, occurring for the very first time right here in the Cincinnati area. This ground-breaking artistic collaboration magnifies voices which often go unheard, but whose messages resonate deeply. These four youths’ powerful words and the composers’ musical responses have inspired Lynx Project to ask communities, “how will you speak into the world today”?
