Eleven Seconds

Growing Up To Who He is Today
40 years ago a boy named Travis Roy was born. He grew up to love the sport of hockey. He was doing skills camps since he was the age of seven. His dream was to be on the Boston University hockey team when he was younger. As he grew he learned. More about himself, more about his family and his friends. He made it to BU and in the first game, when he finally made it, in the first eleven seconds that he played he goes down. He can not move. He is paralyzed from the shoulders down. Shortly after he was in the hospital with his girlfriend, his dad, his mom and his brother. He did not want this to happen but it did. Due to him being paralyzed his whole family had to be by his side because he could not move.
