MCCHS FRIDAY FOCUS
92nd Edition: November 9, 2018
Pilgrims on the Way of Truth
Thank you for a SUCCESSFUL Parent-Teacher Conference Day!
A special thank you to our AMAZING Parent Association for providing our faculty with a delicious dinner during conferences. We especially love the opportunity to all come together as a staff, sit and eat a hot meal (taking our time!) and chatting with colleagues we rarely get to see due to different lunch schedules! Those moments really mean so much to us as a faculty-family - and we are extremely grateful that our Parent Association makes that happen for us! If you have thought about joining this wonderful organization, please come to the Annex this Wednesday at 7:00 pm!

Coming soon: Hurricane Day - Tuesday, November 20!
Hurricane Day is a day to celebrate Marian Central Catholic High School! It's a day to share Hurricane pride by wearing red and columbia blue, posting Marian's impact on social media with #HurricaneDay, and giving back with a gift to reach our goal of 591 donors. This represents the number of students’ lives currently being formed at Marian Central. Together, we can ensure that the tradition of a Marian Central Catholic education remains strong.
We are challenging the students to post on Facebook, Twitter and/or Instagram what they like most about Marian Central to be entered into a drawing for spirit wear. Students will be permitted to dress down that day in their most spirited red and columbia blue to show their Hurricane pride. Please encourage your child to get involved in this special day!

MCCPA: Parent Association Meeting Nov. 14th! Come Join Us!
Join this dynamic group to support our beloved school! Our next Parent Association meeting will be on Wednesday, November 14th at 7:00 pm in the Annex!
We have so many more events that help support our students and faculty - such as the up-coming Open House on November 18th, where we host a refreshment table - and can use a few parent-volunteers to greet prospective families!
We are there for every school event to make sure our students never go without refreshments, support, and encouragement! Our involvement, too, provides immediate support to the wonderful faculty here at Marian Central as most coach sports, advise after-school clubs, chaperone field trips and retreats in addition to all their teaching responsibilities.
This is a wonderful opportunity to get to know other Marian Central families, make life-long friends, and be a continual positive presence in our children's lives. We'd love to see you at this November 14th meeting!
