Filming at Nunnington Hall
Monday November 26th and Tuesday November 27th
Introduction from Jade Cancellier
The Filming
The filming is due to take place this coming Monday and Tuesday (the 26th and 27th of November) from 10am until late afternoon (around 3.30).
For those who are able to help, the National Trust are offering the volunteer rate of 33p per mile for fuel expenses (round trip of 40 miles), refreshments, and complimentary tickets to Nunnington Hall and Rievaulx Terrace.
Three students from York College’s Foundation Degree in Media Make-up and Hair design will be present on Monday to do hair and make-up for actors. We have a small selection of costumes available, however, if actors have their own outfits with a 1920s look, it would be great if they could bring them along!
If anyone would like to get involved, please call Jude on 07968377694 (anytime) or 01439 748021 (during the day).
You can also get in touch with Jude via mailto:Jade.Cancelliere@nationaltrust.org.uk.
f those who are interested are able to get in touch by Friday afternoon at the latest, that would be wonderful. We’re hoping that the film will be used to advertise our 1920s Christmas weekends on our website and blog, and York College students will use the film as part of their portfolio.
It looks like it will be a lot of fun and a great chance to act in a unique location. All of the roles in the film are non-speaking, and the roles we are looking to fill are enthusiastic members of cocktail party, with a maximum cast size of 10.
A homage to 1920s silent cinema
