Letter from the Director
Each year in November, The National Hunger and Homeless Awareness week begins on the 2nd Saturday and continues for 9 days. The week of hunger and homeless awareness helps change the stigmas that are in our community. Please follow our Facebook posting during this week and see the statistics of hunger and homelessness. I would like to say thank you to Real Life Church and Nick Grice for hosting the annual dental bus in Denver. Four Hesed House residents were blessed to attend. Over the past 18 months, Hesed has had limited capacity due to covid. I am excited that we are now on the path to allowing full capacity at the shelter. We currently have 21 residents at Hesed, 13 men, 6 women, and 2 children. With the holidays fast approaching and the shelter beds filling up, we ask that you consider giving a tax-deductible monetary donation to help those living in hunger and homelessness.
Thank You

Volunteer News
The volunteers of the Hesed Hope of Hope never cease to amaze me! In just 24 hours you guys stepped up to volunteer and give for the Days of Hope Rally. You guys are awesome! We were able to serve over 50 people with food, blankets, coats, hats, gift cards, and more. Lincoln County might be small but it sure has a BIG heart for others.
The calendars for 2022 are now posted on the website. You can sign up for activities, tours, and meal services. If you are interested in leading a bible study, please email me directly.
Again, thank you for being you and having the heart to serve.
