Research and Internship Credits
Are you working in a research lab or have an internship this semester and wanting to earn credit for those experiences? Please turn your forms in at PSY Room 312 ASAP! We need to add the credit to your schedule.
All forms are located in PSY Room 312 at the front counter.
For more information on how to get started with research or internships, check out the information on our website: http://psychology.arizona.edu/academics/career-preparation-program
If you are planning on graduating after this Fall 2018 or Winter Session 2019, you need to file for graduation! The deadline to apply was September 1st to avoid the $50 late filing fee. After Sept. 1st, there is an additional $50 fee.
You can access and complete your candidacy form online through your UAccess Student Center by "applying for graduation." This is the first step of the degree check process. Upon completion of this form, you will also want to schedule a "Degree Audit Worksheet" appointment with your advisor to complete the process.
OPPORTUNITIES
Research assistant positions available!
Cultural-Existential Psychology Lab
Dr. Daniel Sullivan’s cultural-existential psychology lab (http://culturalexistential.lab.arizona.edu/) is seeking assistants to help carry out research on an independent-study-credit basis during Fall 2018.
Our studies focus on individual as well as cultural differences in the types of things people find important and threatening in life (e.g., the role of religion); perceptions of suffering, natural disaster, and victimhood; and the social-cognitive psychology of time and space.
We are especially interested in students who have any background in film production as well as psychology. If you are interested in working as a research assistant on these topics, please contact Isaac Young at isaacyoung@email.arizona.edu or Roman Palitsky at romanp@email.arizona.edu
