Greeting Shaw Community,

The deadline for the Arizona Tax Credit is quickly approaching. This opportunity expires on April 15th.

Our school uses this money in specific ways to fund the highly desirable opportunities we want for our children.

For the preschool, kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grades this means that your tax credit dollars SOLELY fund the outdoor environments. The ODE is not critical to the function of a school or district but is critical to the quality Montessori experience your child receives for FREE!

For the 3rd through 8th grades your tax credit is used to fund the “big trips” that (your) our students enjoy unless you designate them otherwise. The ODE is not critical to the function of a school or district but is critical to the quality Montessori experience your child receives for FREE!

Our outdoor environment tax credit collection is currently at $10,104.00. We need additional revenue of $14,896.00 to keep the garden and outdoor environment open through December of 2020.

Please consider donating your tax credit today. Aunts, uncles, grandparents and friends can also donate if they are Arizona residents.

It is vital that 3rd-8th grade students have the opportunity to practice Technology Enhanced (TE) Items such as Editing Task with Choice, Evidence-Based Selected Response, Graphic Response Item Display (GRID), Hot Text, Matching Item, Multi-Select, Equation Response, Constructed Response Items, and Simulation Items that will be seen on the AzM2.

Shaw PTA is looking for committed volunteers for

the Spring Carnival on March 20, 2020 from 4:30 - 7:30PM

Specifically a volunteer coordinator and volunteers

for the day of the event.
