Google Classroom

I hope that everyone enjoyed Friday's Staff Development Day. In the morning, I taught a session on Google Classroom--a FREE classroom management system that allows teachers to share important documents and resources, create and grade assignments, easily organize student documents, and so much more. It's not too late to start using this great tool. Check out the infographic below by Alice Keeler for more information on Google Classroom.

PARCC Practice

Our 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders will be taking the PARCC test in April. Head over to the official PARCC site for practice tests and answer keys for English Language Arts/Literacy and Mathematics.

*Please note that Google Chrome is not supported by PARCC. Students will need to access the TestNav app on their Chromebooks to take the practice tests. To show on the SmartBoard, use Firefox or Safari. Please see Pat or me if you have a question about this.

STAY TUNED! I am in the process of gathering additional PARCC resources for you and your students. If you have come across anything you find particularly useful, please send it my way!
