WMS Weekly Warrior
Week of 11-11-19
Good Afternoon Everyone,
What a tremendous way to honor our veterans. WMS held three ceremonies in three separate locations around the school to honor our vets. Students read a brief history of the significance of Veterans Day including the classic poem In Flanders Field by John McRae and patriotic music was provided by our WMS band and chorus. It was a great event and all of our students showed respect for those who served our country. A special thank you to WMS PIM for serving refreshments at the conclusion of our ceremonies.
Please remember parent conferences will be held on Wednesday and Thursday of this week. Team leaders have contacted parents last week to set up appointments. If you need a conference and have not heard from the team leaders please contact them ASAP. Also, note clubs will not meet after school during conferences.
