FROM MARK
Dear Parents and Guardians,
By all accounts today’s Pre-primary assembly was just fabulous! Sincere thanks to Kellie, Riana, Justine and Julie for having the children in top form, ready to give of their best. To the many students who received Merit Awards, congratulations and thank you. Your work, attitude, and the importance which you attach to making Jesus real in your daily lives enriches our entire community.
Thanks so much to Holly Butson and the parents and Library Monitors who assisted her in making our Scholastic Book Fair so successful. It has been huge!
A great week ahead next week - P&F and SAC meetings are in the staff room on Tuesday, National Simultaneous Storytelling event on Wednesday, GRIP Leadership conference for Student Leaders as well as the Mums’ night out on Thursday, and the Year Five Class Mass on Friday. Enjoy!
Have a great weekend
Mark

Children are still coming back to school too soon after having had Gastro.
If your child has gastro, keep them away from school for 48 hours after vomiting and diarrhoea have stopped.
The easiest way to prevent gastro is to wash hands regularly, especially before eating and after going to the toilet.

LIBRARY NEWS
BOOK FAIR WEEK! Thanks to everyone for attending the Scholastic Book Fair this week! It has been a tremendous success and I can’t wait to tell you about all the goodies we have received as a result. Huge thanks to our amazing Library Monitors – you have been an incredible help and I hope you enjoyed yourselves. Parent volunteers thank you for giving up your time – without your support, I would be unable to run the Fair and I am truly grateful. I hope everyone has enjoyed their books (and posters!) and I am looking forward to seeing you all for library next week as we return to normal borrowing.
HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to our Junior Chess Champions for 2021. Jobe H was our overall champ, with Ben F and Tayte M in 2nd and 3rd place. They were presented with their trophies this morning at assembly and should be very proud of their accomplishment! Well done boys!!
