Principal's News

Week 4

Phew... another hot one ahead!

Thank-you to the staff who attended the Commissioning Mass on Sunday and to the social committee for organising brunch. As much as we all have busy lives, it is just one of those things that we do as a Catholic community.

What a great week to take the kids swimming! Nice and hot in the middle of the day, a cool dip is just the ticket.

Just remember that you are still on duty, even though someone else is teaching your students.

It is another busy week with parent teacher interviews continuing this week. Next week I would like to begin to meet with all classroom teachers to discuss these and to fill in any gaps. I will let you know how I propose to do this. Well done for sticking to time and well done to Ms Kelly's child minding service in the library.

St Augustine's 150th Recipe Books are available for purchase at $10. Yes, I know, you already have dozens of recipe books that you never use. Just think of this as a donation to a good cause. I hear that the Brown Family Choc Cake recipe is a winner!

Be happy and cheerful. Find something to smile about each day.

It's newsletter week. If you have anything you would like to contribute please get it to Christine by Wednesday.
