I know...it's a lot of information. But please read and before you close it, complete the following:
Some of the items here are clickable to help you.
- Fill out this form so we have the correct contact information for each family. All members need to do this. Even if you have already done it or think we have it, please complete this again. It is quick.
- Make sure you have joined the 2021-2022 Clear Creek BAND group.
- Grab the physical and medical authorization form and make plans to see a doctor and get it done.
- Mark your calendar with the dates listed for the May, June, and Summer Band rehearsals. Please avoid any vacations during that time. Primary marching spots will be based in part on attendance.
- Put all the performance dates for the fall on your calendar.
Physicals & Medical Forms
All forms listed here must be on file prior to our first Music & Movement Camp on June 1st.
You will need to print and complete the following forms. Both need to be completed by a doctor.
- CCISD Physical - Required of all students.
- CCISD Authorization of Medication at School - Must be submitted prior to any medication being brought on campus.
You will log into Rank One Sports to complete the other forms.
- Go to the Rank One Sports website. (Here are user instructions.)
- Continue as a guest or create an account. Either way, you will need to enter your band student's name (as it appears in Skyward) and your student's ID number to proceed to the forms section.
- The forms are hyperlinks that you will need to click on to fill out the information.
The forms that you will complete on the Rank One Sports website are:
- Medical History
- UIL Forms
- Emergency Information Form
- Texting Authorization Form - Directors/staff will only text students when immediate communication is necessary or when we are traveling. This is not required, but helpful in situations where we are away from the school throughout the year at band functions.
You will upload these completed forms to the Rank One Sports website:

Please look carefully at all events...some are required for everyone while some are specific to grade levels and sections. If there isn't a specific grade level/section, the event is for everyone.
Attendance at all rehearsals is required for all students as indicated. All rehearsals take place at Clear Creek HS.
New Member Training
- Thursday, May 13th - 5:00pm to 7:30pm
Parents - Please note there is a meet & greet session starting at 6:30pm. This is a great time to meet other active band parents and ask questions of staff and the Boosters.
The first Spring Band Registration will follow at 7:30pm for sizing and ordering of required materials as well as program fee payments. (Note: You only have to attend one.)
New Member & Sophomore Training
- Thursday, May 20th - 5:00pm to 7:30pm
Parents - Please note there is a meet & greet session starting at 6:30pm. This is a great time to meet other active band parents and ask questions of staff and the Boosters. (If you attended the first, you are welcome to attend this one...but the information will be similar.)

Full Band Training & Refresher
Required for all members of the 2021-2022 Wildcat Band.

We cordially invite all Creek Band Parents to a Meet & Greet at 6:30pm to get everyone ready for the upcoming school year!

Weekly Fall Rehearsal Schedule
- Mondays - 6:00pm to 9:00pm
- Tuesdays - 3:45pm to 6:15pm
- Thursdays - 3:45pm to 6:15pm
In the event of a Thursday football game, a Friday rehearsal will be scheduled instead.
Attendance at all performances is required for all students in the Clear Creek Band Program.

All travel plans are tentative pending guidance from CCISD regarding student and program travel for the 2021-2022 school year.
BOA San Antonio Trip
This trip is required for all students in the Clear Creek HS Band and the cost of this trip is built into fees this year. A possible trip to Fiesta Texas may require a minimal increase in fees, but nothing substantial.
We do not yet have our performance time, but are hoping for a Saturday performance. There are two possible schedules:
Tentative Itinerary
- Depart Friday night (with overnight stay) or Saturday morning
- Performance at some point on Saturday
- Watch Finals competition on Saturday evening
- Overnight Saturday at hotel in San Antonio
- Possible Six Flags Fiesta Texas on Sunday
- Return late Sunday
Spring Band Trip - Orlando, Florida (Walt Disney World & Universal Orlando)
The per person cost of this trip is $1,649.00.
Detailed information regarding the trip is coming soon. But highlights include:
- 3 Days at Walt Disney World Resort
- 1 Day at Universal Orlando Resort
- 2 Meals Provided Daily
- Workshops at Disney and Universal
This trip is optional but highly encouraged for all students in the Clear Creek Band. The cost of this trip is not included in the program fees.

Note: Color Guard will have fees as well. That cost sheet will be completed and shared very soon.

Financial challenges will never prevent a student from participating in the Clear Creek Band! There is always a way to make it work and the band staff will be happy to discuss options and arrangements with you.

Spring "Shopping Days"
These will take place after each Spring Pre-Season Rehearsal.

Fall "Shopping Day"

For anyone who would rather pay online, an online option will be available.
Volunteer Opportunities
We need as many parents to be involved as possible...and (believe it or not) your students want you around!
There are so many ways to be a part of the program...it doesn't have to be a full time job. But it can be if you want it to! Just don't expect a paycheck. :)
Ways you can be involved:
- Chaperoning (Games, Contests, Trips) - Chaperoning High School students is quite different than younger students. You will find they are much more self sufficient...and band students are easier than most!
- Feeding Students - We feed the students before each game and at each contest. We need parents to help serve and deliver.
- "Pit Crew" - We need parents to help move percussion and sound equipment on and off the field at each performance. It is impossible for the students and staff to do this on their own! You get a front row seat to everything that is happening!
- Prop Crew - If you are mechanically inclined...we can absolutely put you to work. Each production we put together requires active parents to help design, construct, maintain, and operate props for the marching show.
- Uniform Crew - We have hundreds of uniforms that must be worn for different things throughout the year. Sometimes we need help sizing kids, sometimes we need minor alterations...we always need help in the uniform room.
Have another way you want to be involved? Touch base with the Band Boosters and they will get you engaged!

The Meet & Greet will take place in the Band Hall and will be followed by the Spring Band Registration (this registration is required for all students).
