Week-At-A-Glance

Well, this is it. The last full week of our 2015 - 2016 school year. This will be the last newsletter from me for the year.

First, and foremost, I want to thank you for an extraordinary year. I hope it has been equally as wonderful for your kiddos and you. It is hard for me to believe that we are wrapping up the year this week (and the following Monday). It has been my pleasure to work with your children and I want to thank each and every one of you for your support. Without you, I know our success would be minimal. Your partnership has allowed us to reach goals and maximum learning potential. Thank you for everything. I wish your kiddos (and you) a fabulous and fun summer break, and I wish all of you an even better 5th grade year! There are great things ahead, I just know it! I will truly miss each and everyone of your kids.

Next week: we will spend our last few days completing any unfinished or missing work.

Reading: The Lightning Thief and our favorite "book" discussions

Writing: Writing Government "presentations"

Math: Measurement

Social Studies: Government "presentations"

Science: Completing PLTW and reflecting

Specials: Day 0 - unless your child needs to finish projects or activities that are unfinished
