Happy Halloween!

I am excited to say that we have made it to the end of October. It has been so wonderful to continue our in-person learning. We have been able to maintain our daily routines with very few interruptions.

The COVID numbers continue to rise in this state and in Washington County. The Health Department holds meetings with school principals in the county every other week. This week, we were told that there are so many cases that they are overwhelmed and are unable to continue to provide contact tracing. It will become part of the schools' responsibilities. They also said that school-age children are not being impacted as much so as long as we continue to practice social distancing, wearing masks, washing hands, and sanitizing our areas. They said it is actually one of the safest places to be. We will continue to stay diligent and keep our teachers and students safe so we can remain open.

I want to thank all of you who have reached out to me when you have had tests and reported the results. To date, we have had one student test positive but was already quarantined at home due to a family member testing positive. No classes have been impacted or had to quarantine. We have had 7 students home in quarantine due to close contact with a person that tested positive (all but two of these students will return on Monday).

Please continue to monitor your child(ren). Keeping them home when they are not feeling well seems to be working. If they are truly not feeling well, it is okay for them to rest and get caught up when they return. Sometimes rest is best. If they are up to it then virtual is fine (as long as they attend all classes and participate).

Finally, if your entire family needs to quarantine and cannot come to pick up classwork, could it be possible for you to reach out to a school family that you know or lives near you that could drop off the materials to you (on the porch or another area that you could retrieve it) so your child can continue with their schoolwork. If this does occur, reach out to me and I can help find a way to make it possible.

Have a safe Halloween and see you all on Monday!!!

Veterans Honored

To honor veterans at Mass around Veterans' Day, there will once again be a slide show playing. If you know of a Holy Angels veteran, or have a family member who is a veteran, please message Mr. Breunig at with as much of the following as possible: name of veteran, relationship, years of service, years of birth and or death, branch of service, and a picture.

Picture Retakes are November 4th!

This is the information I received from Network Photography this week. Please read below:

If students have not been photographed this school year, please be prepared to have a photograph taken on re-take day. All students must be photographed. Portraits will be needed for your school’s data base.

If you want a re-take of your student’s original portrait, please return the original package in its entirety to the photographer on re-take day. A replacement package will be printed and delivered to the school with your student’s new image. If you did not purchase photos from the original picture day and want a re-take, please have the student’s picture taken.

If you would like to order school pictures for the first time, you can print and use the order form .pdf that is attached or obtain one from the school office. Just fill out the order form and bring it with you to re-take day.

If you do not order your student’s portrait on re-take day, you will still be able to order online for the entire school year. Approximately 3 weeks after the portrait is taken your student will bring home a proof form with their own secure private gallery password. Online orders get mailed directly to your home and will include a shipping charge of $4.50.

Re-take photos will be delivered to the school approximately three weeks after the re-take day.
