October is College Application Month. If your student is a senior, October is the time to start applying to colleges for next year and getting the FAFSA completed. Clio will have a FAFSA workshop night on October 12 at 6:00 in the high school media center. Please make sure you and your student have your FSA ID created before then. Go to https://studentaid.gov/fsa-id/create-account/launch in order to get that set up. If you have completed a FAFSA in the past, as a student or a parent, you already have an ID. If you have questions, contact Jennifer Hall for more information email@example.com or (810) 591-1385.
The counselors will begin meeting with seniors the last week of September to talk to them about their post-graduation plans. Our goal is to make sure they know how to achieve those plans regardless of what they might be.
