Miranda Barbour
Summary
In November a lady by the name of Miranda Barbour is being convicted after claims that she killed a man she met through craigslist. Miranda tells police that she not only killed him, but at least 22 others. She was killing people in Alaska, Texas, North Carolina and California all over a span of 6 years. Barbour said, ""When I hit 22, I stopped counting." Miranda and her husband are both facing several charges. Barbour also stated,"If I were to be released, I would do this again."

Summary
New York college student Micheal Deng died in December of closed head injuries during a fraternity ritual in Pennsylvania. Monroe County law enforcement holds responsibility those involved in the death. 30 new pledges had to participate in a ritual called "Glass Ceiling." They were blindfolded and wore a backpack with 20 pounds of sand. They then had to go in the direction in which their name was called. While doing so Deng fell backward and hit his head, making her unresponsive. Pi Delta Psi Fraternity do not want to take responsibility for Deng's death.

Ray Nagin
Summary
Former Mayor of New Orleans, Ray Nagin, of found guilty of 20 of 21 charges against him. Nagin was accused of taking hundreds of thousands dollars worth of brides and favors from people looking for a break from his administration. Nagin was the mayor before, during, and after Hurricane Katrina. Nagin is facing up to 20 years in prison. The 20 businessmen plead gulity and are also facing time.

Dead Body Found
Summary
A U.S. air crew finds a dead man's body in a South African Airways plane wheel well. Nobody know how the body got there and they have not yet identified him. They found the body around 1:30 p.m. in the plane parking area. There is and ongoing investigation.

Uganda
Summary
President Yoweri Museveni of Uganda signs an anti-gay bill after supports that it is not a gene but a learned behavior. 2009 there was a death penalty charge for those involved in homosexual acts. He first declined the bill because it was not designed to protect the civil rights of homosexuals.Museveni claims that homosexuality is a learned behavior and people are not born with it.They shouldn't be punished by what is learned.
