ELA Update
We will be completing our fourth anthology by the end of the month. Then, we will begin our last anthology of the year. The children have been working very hard on their reading this year. We continue to practice reading fluently and understanding what we read. Don't forget to practice the high frequency words as part of the homework.
April is Poetry month. We will be working on some poetry writing that I am sure you will treasure!
We will also begin our Animal Research Projects! We work on these towards the end of the month through May. We will share them in June!

MISCELLANEOUS
We are still working hard this year and several children are in need of some items.... Please check with your child to see if he/she needs new twistables, markers or pencils. We are always looking for glue sticks and tissues to be donated to the classroom, too.
FInally, please have your child bring a water bottle to/from school each day. This really eliminates a lot of wasted time of running out of class to get a drink at the water fountain.
