October 2022 Update
Glen Hills Physical Education
Fall Curriculum
All the students will participate in the following units for physical education for the fall sessions. The 4th, 5th and 6th graders will participate in swimming, soccer/speedball, and tennis. The 7th and 8th graders will do flag football (7) team handball (8), soccer or speedball, and tennis. The students stay with their home base teacher and switch units every 2 weeks. It has been an active and fun start to the 2022-2023 school year.
Please support students and remind them to change into physical education clothes for class!
Grading...
The students are graded everyday by being given points. Points are given for gym clothes, effort, activity level and cooperation. Students are also expected to be to class on time and show good sportsmanship during team play. Working together, being inclusive, and respectful are important qualities students must demonstrate daily. Students grades can be found in Infinite Campus. If students or parent(s)/guardian(s) have questions, we are here to answer any questions. 4th and 5th grade students are graded with rubrics and 6th, 7th and 8th grades are given letter grades.
