September Teacher and Staff Member of the Month:

Mrs. Whicker is our wonderful teacher of the month for September. Mrs. Whicker has taught for 6 years, all of which have been in 3rd grade. She is one of our wonderful 3rd grade ELA teachers. She is also our team lead for 3rd grade, and does an amazing job leading her team. She has been happily married for 6 years to her husband Kenny. Together they have twin 3 year old boys, Crew and Cannon. Her and her family love to watch baseball, play outside, and swim. She sells LuLaRoe and is always stylish in her cute outfits. We appreciate everything Mrs. Whicker does for our campus, students, and staff.

This months staff member of the month is Judy Frazier. Mrs. Frazier has been a vital part of our LSRO family for ten years. She has served as our receptionist and PEIMS clerk. After a short break, where we missed her greatly, Judy returned to LSRO and is currently serving as our registrar. Her infectious smile is always a delight for students and parents to see each morning.

Judy and her husband, along with their beautiful daughter love to cheer on the Texas Rangers. When she is not at the stadium she is involved in mission work and her church's youth ministry.

Cupcake Club:

We are excited to start our LSRO Cupcakes Club for the 2017-2018 school year. This is for students in 1st through 6th grade. We will be meeting on Wednesday’s from 3:10- 3:50pm. We will meet two times per semester and will announce exact dates soon. Due to limited seating, we will accept students into the club on a first come first serve basis, based on when the form and dues are received. Completed form and dues are due by October 10th. We look forward to all the fun activities we have planned for this school year.
