Physical apperance
The coat of the cheetah is short , the color is a tawny brown, and is covered with round black spots. One of the most distinguishing feature of the cheetah are its two black stripes which look like tear-tracks, which stretch from the corners of the eyes to the corners of the mouth. The slim, lean cheetah has long legs, a narrow waist and a large chest. The head and ears are small, and the eyes are high set.

Most cheetahs live on the southwestern and eastern of Africa.
Size and life span
Cheetahs are 30 inches at the shoulders, they weight from 110 to 140 pounds, there body length is 4ft, and there tail lengh is 28.5 inches.There life span is from 10 to 12 yrs. depending on the gender.
Population
In 1900, there were over 100,000 cheetahs across their historic range. Today, an estimated of 9,000 to 12,000 cheetahs remain in the wild in Africa. In Iran, there are around 200 cheetahs living in small isolated populations.
