Curriculum Night Slideshow

If you weren't able to attend Thursday evening, here is the information that the fifth grade teachers shared! Please let us know if you have any questions.

Boosterthon 2017-18

Parents! This year’s main fundraiser is the Bear Creek Fun Run! It’s a 9-day program that kicks off with a Pep Rally on September 29. Families will then gather pledges for every lap your student runs (30-35 laps), and we’ll celebrate at the Fun Run on October 12. With our big goal of raising $20,000 for Water Bottle water fountains, we asked the Fun Run experts at Boosterthon to power our Fun Run and make it more profitable, easier, and fun.

Students will also experience an amazing character theme, CASTLE QUEST! an English castle theme all about being brave and living with character. On their quest to regain Bravemore Castle, students will learn the “SIX VIRTUES of a TRUE HERO” from a cast of colorful characters.

Donations will go toward Water Bottle water fountains and to the entire 9-day experience. So please help our school by reaching out to sponsors. Also, all families are invited to come out and cheer on your student at the Fun Run! Thank you for your support!

Around the World at BCE

Around the World at Bear Creek is an International Event that we have held for the past 10 years!

Parents and students from various countries share culture, clothing, foods, music, dancing and a variety of interesting things about their country of origin. It happens during one school

day in January and then again in the evening after a PTA meeting. We need lots of volunteers for this exciting event. If you are interested, or would like more information about this event, please fill out the half sheet and turn it in to your child's classroom teacher or there are envelopes in the P.E. hallway.

Coach Lucas will contact you in the near future via email regarding our first meeting and with more information. Thank you for your interest and help with this Bear Cree event!
