Superintendent's Report
-As part of our compensation package, we will give a longevity stipend to all staff. Exempt employees will receive a $100 stipend, while non-exempt staff will receive a $50 stipend.
-We were one of the only school districts in the San Antonio area to give raises this year.
-In three years the starting teacher salary has increased from $44,000 per year to $50,000 per year.
-Our salaries are very competitive with other districts like Northside ISD.
-We have an opportunity to win three State Championships in the next week (Boerne HS Tennis, as well as Champion HS Boys and Girls Cross Country teams)
-If we were not open our students would not be able to have these great experiences
-At this time there are no plans to switch all students to E-Learning between Thanksgiving and Christmas.
-We are planning on continuing E-Learning this school year and are not doing away with it.
-COVID-19 is not being spread inside our schools. Most of the positive COVID-19 diagnoses are being spread at home and in social situations that are not affiliated with Boerne ISD.
